Position Summary

Deloitte US Sponsorships is seeking a strategic, creative-minded sponsorship marketer to lead Deloitte’s Olympic & Paralympic (O&P) content and integrated marketing activation across the US. This role sets the activation strategy, governs cross-functional execution, and drives measurable impact across owned/paid/earned/property channels, storytelling, and rights management—while maximizing contractual assets and ensuring brand-safe, compliant use of Olympic & Paralympic intellectual property.

Recruiting for this role ends on Mar 30, 2026

Work you’ll do

Strategy & Integrated Marketing Activation

  • Own the end-to-end Olympic & Paralympic content and integrated marketing strategy: set the annual activation approach, prioritize initiatives, and ensure activations ladder to brand, client, and practitioner objectives.
  • Architect cross-channel programs across owned, paid, earned, and property channels; ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all materials and moments.
  • Shape the multi-year roadmap (e.g., LA28 lead-up), balancing “always-on” storytelling with tentpole moments, and translating strategy into an actionable annual plan.
  • Lead US activation planning in partnership with global sponsorship stakeholders, ensuring relevance of global initiatives in the US and maximizing both contractual and incremental activation across owned, paid, property, and earned media.
  • Manage contractors, agency resources or other team members.

Property & Internal Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Own key property relationships and marketing team cadence: lead ongoing status calls with the Olympic and Paralympic organizations and internal teams.
  • Oversee contractual assets, directly manage marketing-related assets, and drive decisions with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead collaboration with Deloitte Sports Practice and other internal teams to understand current and future work with sports organizations and apply insights into activation plans.
  • Partner across the firm to maximize impact with strong governance across measurement, brand safety, and approvals—working with data storytelling, risk, legal, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Talent and Internal Comms teams regarding employee engagement strategy and delivery in the lead-up to and during the Olympic & Paralympic Games.
  • Align Olympic and Paralympic activation with broader Deloitte priorities by partnering with Purpose and Commercialization teams to integrate campaigns, reinforce the Deloitte brand, and improve efficiency across efforts.
  • Integrate marketing and sponsorship messaging into hospitality programming in partnership with sponsorship hospitality and operations leaders.

Creative, Messaging, & Channel Activation

  • Oversee development of Deloitte creative, messaging, and placements across internal and external channels, ensuring quality, consistency, and alignment to activation objectives.
  • Direct paid media planning support with media teams/agencies to develop, implement, and measure paid plans across digital, social, broadcast, and other placements.
  • Lead earned media coordination with Public Relations (PR), including press release strategy and timing aligned to key moments.
  • Develop and oversee athlete strategy and asset programming in the US, including identification and negotiation with athletes/agents as needed.

Measurement, Reporting, & Insights

  • Own the measurement and reporting narrative for Deloitte’s Olympic & Paralympic sponsorships, quantifying, assessing, and showcasing impact across activation and placements.
  • Establish a consistent executive reporting cadence and provide regular updates to senior leaders on performance tracking, key learnings, and recommended optimizations.
  • Serve as a leader of sponsorship insights, continuously improving best practices, monitoring the sponsorship landscape, and mapping insights into actions that elevate Deloitte’s approach.

Sponsorship Rights Management

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert (SME) for Olympic & Paralympic rights management and lead approvals governance across the team to enable compliant, brand-safe activation.
    • Develop deep understanding of rights, designations, and considerations for Olympic & Paralympic relationships.
    • Act as an internal champion and liaison to help teams across Deloitte leverage sponsorship properties appropriately within rights.
    • Accountable for the team to coordinate and track reviews of creative and copy assets using sponsorship intellectual property, both internally and externally.
    • Oversee Olympic & Paralympic Rights Management manager

Broader Team Success

  • Support other sponsorship marketing initiatives, including cross-sponsorship and sponsorship-specific concepting, presentation development, sweepstakes concepting and rules development, athlete alignment recommendations and negotiations, and coordination of executive speaking engagements (and other priority items as assigned).
  • Flex across the sponsorship portfolio as needed, supporting marketing & advertising around other sponsorships (e.g., basketball, golf, tennis, soccer), hospitality, and employee engagement.
