Work You’ll Do
This practitioner will support the Client in driving technology evaluation, transformation, and innovation across the logistics and mission support portfolio. The role involves providing analytical and programmatic support to assess and integrate emerging technologies, while also managing the modernization and consolidation of a vast portfolio of existing IT systems. This individual will work as a key advisor, preparing and presenting deliverables to client leadership, engaging with diverse stakeholders from program offices and functional communities, and developing innovative strategies to advance the Client's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate for this role is a program management professional with a proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable, data-driven strategies. This position will be central to helping the Client rationalize its portfolio of legacy applications and guiding their migration to modern cloud environments. This consultant will also be instrumental in establishing and institutionalizing agile processes to accelerate technology insertion, ensuring that the Client can rapidly deliver new capabilities to the warfighter. Success in this role requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Active Secret clearance required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future.
- 8+ years of total professional experience
- 5+ years of experience with the follow:
- Experience developing and presenting executive-level reports, briefings, and deliverables using MS Office tools.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and align stakeholders to achieve strategic goals.
- Experience in a military or defense environment, particularly within logistics or operations.
- 3+ years of experience with defense program execution and contract management (e.g., as a Contracting Officer Representative).
- 3+ years of experience in program management, including managing cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
- Ability to work on site in Prince George, MD and/or Rosslyn, VA up to 5 days per week (typically 2-3 days per week)
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred qualifications:
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Strategy, Operations, or Analytics
- 3+ years of experience with defense acquisition, resource planning, and the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) process.
- 3+ years of experience with technology transformation, system migration, cloud environments, or enterprise IT portfolio management.
