Work you'll do

Help clients envision, define, and implement modern data and analytics solutions. This role will serve as a bridge between business stakeholders, technical teams, and end users by translating operational needs into clear technical requirements and actionable product concepts. The ideal candidate can guide clients through what an analytics tool could do for them, facilitate productive discussions about priorities and functionality, and help transform those ideas into secure data pipelines, prototype dashboards, analytics views, automated reporting capabilities, and baseline user interfaces. This person should be curious, structured, and comfortable operating at the intersection of business strategy, user experience, data engineering, and technology delivery.

As a Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the Customer Strategy & Design team, you will be responsible for helping clients define, prioritize, and implement data and analytics solutions that support decision-making, operational visibility, and workflow improvement.

  • Elicit, document, validate, and refine functional and technical requirements for data and analytics solutions.
  • Translate business objectives and user needs into prioritized features, user stories, acceptance criteria, data requirements, and prototype concepts.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to define data models, metrics, calculations, visualizations, reporting capabilities, and user access requirements.
  • Lead the design of secure, automated data pipelines and the development of prototype dashboards, analytics views, and baseline user interfaces.
  • Facilitate workshops, demonstrations, and feedback sessions to align priorities, identify gaps, and support implementation decisions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 4+ years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, data analytics, data engineering, or technology consulting
  • 2+ years of experience collecting, documenting, and validating business, functional, and technical requirements for data and analytics solutions, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and data requirements
  • 2+ years of experience facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, working sessions, or client demonstrations and supporting the design or implementation of dashboards, reporting solutions, analytics products, or data pipelines
  • Must be able to work on site up to 100% of the time in Huntsville, Alabama 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred:

  • 1+ years of experience with the Palantir Foundry platform
  • 1+ years of experience building workflow applications on low-code or no-code platforms
  • 1+ years of experience working in Databricks environments
  • 1 years of experience designing or implementing automated data pipelines from source systems to centralized data or analytics platforms
