Work you'll do
As a Tax Consultant on the Deloitte Tax team, you will support client engagements through tax research, analysis, and collaboration.
- Research tax regulations and analyze tax implications based on client facts and business activities
• Prepare recommendations and supporting documentation based on technical tax research
• Use technology and data tools to support tax analysis and client service delivery
• Collaborate with team members to address complex tax issues and develop practical solutions
• Manage multiple assignments and priorities in both in-person and virtual team environments

The team
Deloitte Tax helps clients address business challenges through a broad range of tax services. Teams combine technical knowledge, technology, data, and process capabilities to deliver practical insights and tailored solutions across offerings to help clients evaluate complex issues and improve how work gets done.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Summer or Fall 2027 or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Financial Engineering
- Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required)
- You must reside within a commutable distance of your assigned office with the ability to commute daily, if required. You can expect to co-locate on average 2-3 times a week with variations based on types of work/projects and client locations
- Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the time of employment
- The start date for this position will be Summer 2027/Winter 2028
Preferred:
- Coursework in technology, data analytics, or information systems
- Internship, co-op, summer, or school-year work experience in tax, accounting, finance, or audit

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $54,160 to $99,600.
