Work you’ll do
Deloitte is seeking a Consultant-level professional with strong functional Transportation experience to join our Supply Chain & Network Operations team. In this role, you will support clients in improving transportation operations through process design, technology enablement, and large-scale business transformation. The ideal candidate brings hands-on transportation domain knowledge, experience across planning and execution processes, and functional expertise in one or more leading TMS platforms such as Blue Yonder, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), SAP TM, or similar solutions.
- Support client engagements focused on transportation and supply chain process transformation
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional process and system designs
- Support TMS-related workstreams across transportation planning and execution, including routing, load building, tendering, shipment execution, and carrier management
- Work with client business and technology teams to improve transportation operations enabled by TMS capabilities
- Contribute to design workshops, process mapping, testing, training, and deployment activities
- Assist with integration design and coordination between TMS platforms and ERP solutions
- Provide transportation domain insight across U.S. market operations and modes, including truck, rail, marine, and/or parcel
- Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and support day-to-day project delivery activities

You will work closely with operations leaders, plant managers, and IT teams to design and implement solutions that enhance production efficiency, quality, visibility, and traceability across the manufacturing value chain.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, transportation, consulting, or industry operations.
- Experience with transportation operations, including planning and execution processes
- Experience with the U.S. transportation market, including one or more of the following modes: truck, rail, marine, or parcel
- Experience with integrations between TMS and ERP solutions
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of deep functional experience with a Transportation Management System such as Blue Yonder, OTM, SAP TM, or another leading TMS solution
- Prior consulting experience or experience supporting large-scale transformation programs
- Experience with transportation process improvement, logistics optimization, or supply chain technology implementation
- Familiarity with transportation master data, rates, carrier connectivity, freight settlement, and transportation reporting/analytics
- Understanding of broader ERP and supply chain processes
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 - $163,100.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
