Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
Project team is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to provide 24x7 reliability support for critical applications and infrastructure, ensuring services remain available, performant, and recoverable. This role blends incident response, change management, and automation-driven toil reduction to improve stability and operational maturity. You will be a hands-on engineer and a change agent, helping embed a Reliability and Recoverability culture across the client organization.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to triage and resolve production issues across applications and infrastructure.
- Lead and coordinate major incident response (SEV management): rapid diagnosis, stakeholder communications, escalation, and restoration of service.
- Drive post-incident reviews (PIRs/postmortems) with a blameless approach, ensuring clear root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and follow-through.
- Build and maintain runbooks, playbooks, and troubleshooting guides to improve response consistency and speed.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
- Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
- 7+ years of experience resolving production issues on applications and infrastructure
- 7+ years of experience in SRE principles, ability to leverage SRE principles in day-to-day work like automation firsts mindset
- Strong engineering skills in Infra and App, ability to pick up multi skills like cloud and some legacy as well.
- able to be vocal in P1 calls where there is leadership presence.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
