If you are a technology visionary with a passion for transforming the global tax business with digital technology, consider working with the US Tax Transformation Technology team. This is an opportunity to lead global execution of Deloitte’s tax strategy as we shift from “doing digital” to “being digital” by reimagining how we engage clients, deliver services, operate our business, and create value at scale.
Work you’ll do
As a Senior Manager Delivery Product Owner, you will own the product strategy and delivery outcomes for one or more enterprise platforms that serve the global Deloitte Tax & Legal businesses. You will operate as a senior business and technology leader, aligning executive stakeholders on vision, measurable outcomes, and investment priorities. You will lead and develop cross-functional product and delivery teams (including internal teams and vendors) and establish the governance, operating rhythm, and controls required to deliver high-quality capabilities in a complex, regulated environment.
You will translate ambiguous business problems into an actionable product roadmap, drive alignment across global stakeholders, and ensure delivery plans achieve intended value—balancing speed, risk, quality, and adoption. You will proactively manage interdependencies across programs, elevate critical risks and decisions to leadership, and ensure transparent reporting on value, milestones, and delivery health.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Drive prioritization decisions, establishing and enforcing delivery standards and ways of working across development teams and vendors.
- Provide senior leadership and oversight to ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure functionality that delivers measurable end-user and business outcomes.
- Lead intake, triage, and prioritization of business demand, partnering with Quality & Risk to ensure compliance, validating technical feasibility, and aligning decisions with executive leadership.
- Sponsor experience and design outcomes, ensuring product specifications and workflow needs are met; direct user validation and targeted hands-on testing for critical journeys, translating findings into actionable delivery direction.
- Follow and uphold standards, controls, and metrics to deliver value efficiently, including quality gates and outcome-based measures.
- Partner with the Technical Product Owner to own end-to-end delivery execution, including scope definition, sequencing, release planning, sprint/PI planning, and transparent progress/performance reporting.
- Proactively manage product-related risks, defects, and dependencies across teams, escalating to leadership as needed.
