Work You’ll Do
- Integrate data sources into Splunk, ensuring accurate and timely data ingestion, parsing, and normalization.
- Develop and maintain custom Splunk apps, add-ons, and knowledge objects (e.g., field extractions, event types, tags, lookups).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Splunk infrastructure, data onboarding, and search performance.
- Document configurations, processes, and procedures related to Splunk development and administration.

The Project Delivery Talent Model is designed for professionals with specialized skills that align to a current client need. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Ability to travel 15%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Ability to be onsite once a week.
- At least 5 years experience in the following:
- Hands-on experience integrating data sources into Splunk and validating ingestion/parsing outcomes.
- Experience building Splunk content, including custom apps/add-ons and knowledge objects (field extractions, event types, tags, lookups).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot Splunk infrastructure, data onboarding, and search performance issues.
- Strong documentation skills, including creation of clear operational procedures and technical guides.
