Position Summary

Specialist Leader – Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Enterprise Architect

Join Deloitte’s AI & Engineering team to transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and make a significant impact on our clients’ success. Collaborate with talented professionals to reimagine and re-engineer mission-critical operations and processes. Your expertise will help clients improve financial performance, accelerate digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.

As a Specialist Leader and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Enterprise Architect, you will be a pivotal driver of innovation and digital transformation—designing, integrating, and optimizing complex enterprise solutions within the OCI ecosystem. Your expertise will center on architecting secure, reliable, and high-performing environments using Oracle's full suite of OCI offerings, with a mission to maximize business value for global organizations.

You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of OCI core and PaaS services—including compute, storage, networking, security, AI/ML, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, SCM, HCM, EPM)—to deliver scalable, intelligent, and automated enterprise solutions. Your architecture will facilitate seamless integration with third-party platforms, packaged applications, and emerging generative AI tools.

In this strategic role, you’ll collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate enterprise objectives into OCI-enabled architectures. You’ll guide the adoption and integration of groundbreaking capabilities such as OCI AI Services, advanced analytics, and Oracle database optimization—making cloud-native best practices central to your approach.

You will also engineer and execute robust multi-cloud strategies, including seamless migrations and interoperability between OCI and hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, and GCP. Staying at the forefront of technology, you will incorporate advanced AI, automation, and database modernization techniques using both native Oracle and leading-edge multi-cloud frameworks.

Recruiting for this role ends on 01/06/26.

Work You’ll Do

  • Architect, Implement and Optimize: Design and implement leading enterprise architectures on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, emphasizing Oracle PaaS, AI/ML capabilities, and Oracle SaaS integrations to transform business processes.
  • Lead Multi-Cloud Adoption: Spearhead OCI-led multi-cloud strategies, including Cross-Cloud database migration, application modernization, and operational integration.
  • Innovate with AI & Automation: Integrate OCI GenAI services, advanced analytics, and intelligent automation frameworks to drive measurable organizational value.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present OCI architectural vision and roadmaps to executive, technical, and business audiences. Influence technology decisions at engineer-to-CxO levels by articulating OCI’s strategic advantages.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure robust cloud governance, compliance, security, and operational excellence for all OCI-centric and multi-cloud initiatives.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Mentor technical teams, drive cross-functional collaboration, and orchestrate technical reviews, PoCs, and successful OCI deployments.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10 plus years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect, specializing in OCI with a track record of successful Oracle Database and large-scale cloud deployments.
  • 5 plus years of deep expertise and certification in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), with strong working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • 5 plus years and proficiency in OCI-native automation (Terraform, Resource Manager), security, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Outstanding communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills—including board-level presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience guiding cloud transformation programs for large enterprise clients, ideally within the Fortune 100.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (OCI Architect Professional, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Architect, etc.) highly desirable.
