Senior Social Strategist

What you’ll do
As a Senior Social Strategist, you will drive social media and creator strategy, working in close collaboration with consulting strategy, creative, brand strategy, measurement/performance and account management teams day-to-day. You’ll oversee the delivery of social and creator work for our clients, manage and coach social teams on individual accounts and support new business pursuits across a variety of sectors. The ideal candidate will be able to lead and sell impactful, social-first ideas, helping brands tell strong stories and effectively reach their target audiences. In this role, you will:
- Define and execute overarching social brand and campaign strategies anchored in data-driven analysis of audience insights, cultural dynamics and key business factors.
- Assess and integrate current customer trends across social digital channels to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Uncover actionable insights through social listening and cultural mapping to develop a compelling, cohesive brand strategy.
- Lead the development and execution of social and influencer strategies aligned with established brand and campaign objectives.
- Collaborate seamlessly with creative teams, advocating for the brand and influencer voices to deliver content that is authentic, differentiated and strategically sound.
- Facilitate and lead workshops and strategic planning sessions that drive alignment and innovative thinking across teams.
- Develop integrated strategy presentations and persuasive proposals to support and win new business opportunities.
- Design and implement operational efficiencies and standardized social media processes for both internal and external teams.
The team
Deloitte Digital’s team creates content and experiences that inspire action. We design and implement technology platforms for personalized marketing across all digital touchpoints, specializing in customer-centric B2B and B2C solutions. Our in-house agency engages customers throughout their journey, working on projects like AdTech, MarTech, campaign automation, CRM, and lead-to-loyalty orchestration. Qualifications
Required:
- 6+ years of experience at a social, digital, creative, or branding agency, or within a social media or technology platform, consistently contributing to innovative campaigns and brand growth
- 5+ years’ experience defining and delivering social media strategy that aligns with brand and business objectives
- Ability to travel up to 30% on average based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- 4+ years of hands-on expertise managing social media channels (earned, owned, and paid), including quantifiable experience developing integrated marketing campaigns, and articulating the synergy between social and broader branded advertising tactics.
- 3+ years utilizing advanced online research tools (e.g., YouGov, Simmons) to analyze consumer insights and inform strategic recommendations, leading to data-driven marketing decisions
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $131,200 to $218,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
