Work you'll do
As a Senior Designer, UX Research on the Customer Strategy & Design team, you will be responsible for:
- Plan and conduct mixed-methods user experience research across API consumers, internal product teams, third-party developers, and Veterans.
- Develop research plans, discussion guides, surveys, and synthesis materials for assigned product and platform workstreams.
- Translate research findings into recommendations for product, design, and engineering stakeholders.
- Maintain research documentation and contribute findings to a shared research repository.
- Support research operations across the program, including collaboration with the research lead and guidance for junior researchers.

Qualifications
Required:
- 4+ years of applied user experience research experience
- 2+ years of experience planning and conducting mixed-methods research
- 2+ years of experience facilitating user interviews and user surveys
- 1+ years of experience working on products subject to Section 508 accessibility requirements
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting federal, healthcare, or developer platform products
- Experience conducting research with Veterans or other hard-to-reach populations
- Experience working in a government contracting environment
- Experience with application programming interface (API) and developer experience research
- Experience mentoring junior researchers
