Work You’ll Do
As a Senior Databricks Consultant at Deloitte, you will lead the end-to-end design and deployment of enterprise solutions on the Databricks Platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, using your deep, real-world project experience to architect solutions that encompass data engineering, data science, and business intelligence. This strategic role is focused on driving innovation and helping clients unlock the full potential of their data and AI investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and Deliver Solutions: Lead the architecture and implementation of advanced solutions on Databricks, covering everything from large-scale data pipelines to production-ready AI/ML models.
- Client Advisory and Strategy: Advise senior stakeholders on a holistic data strategy, including best practices for data engineering, MLOps, BI, and data governance on the Databricks platform.
- Full-Spectrum Implementation: Oversee the design and development of robust data pipelines, analytics-ready data models, and scalable machine learning applications.
- Team Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, sharing practical insights across the data and AI lifecycle and ensuring high-quality, real-world-ready deliverables.
- Project Leadership: Lead technical discussions with business and functional analysts to translate complex requirements into comprehensive solution designs based on proven project success.

Our offerings help clients innovate, enhance and operate their data, AI, and analytics capabilities, ensuring they can mature and scale effectively.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance
- 5+ years of real-world experience in a client-facing role, advising on and implementing end-to-end solutions on the Databricks platform
- 2+ years of project experience with the full Databricks suite, including the latest Databricks features for data engineering, data science, and analytics including Lakeflow Connect, Agent Bricks, and Databricks Apps
- 2+ years of experienct in cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps principles including Databricks Platform administration on a cloud provider
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Databricks certifications (e.g., Data Engineer Professional, Machine Learning Professional) are highly preferred
- Public sector experience preferred
- Active public sector clearance preferred
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,300 to $188,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
