As part of our Finance Transformation team, you’ll collaborate with CFOs, finance leaders, and executive clients to solve their most complex challenges. Leveraging Deloitte’s unmatched resources and deep industry insights, you’ll deliver innovative, market-driven solutions that modernize finance functions, elevate performance, and drive meaningful organizational change. Join us to empower clients to become strategic business partners, manage risk, and unlock new levels of financial and operational excellence.

Recruiting for this role ends on 09/30/2026.

As a Senior Consultant and UX / Product Designer within our Finance Transformation Tech Enablement team, you will design product-grade UX from concept through interactive prototype. You will run rapid design sprints with SMEs for early validation and support the team's overall Client Experience / Human-AI Interaction Designer on design system coherence. This role brings hands-on UX craft to the innovation and incubation process.

Work You Will Do

UX Design & Prototyping

  • Design end-to-end user experiences for new Finance Operate Platform capabilities, from low-fidelity wireframes through high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
  • Translate service concepts and user stories into intuitive UI flows, interaction patterns, and visual designs.
  • Build clickable prototypes in Figma or equivalent tools for rapid validation with SMEs and pilot users before technical build begins.
  • Iterate designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and validation session insights.

Rapid Design Sprints

  • Lead rapid design sprints with Finance Operate SMEs and stakeholders to quickly visualize and test new concepts.
  • Facilitate collaborative design sessions including sketching workshops, wireframe reviews, and prototype walkthroughs.
  • Run lightweight usability testing and validation sessions to identify design issues early.
  • Partner with Service Design Lead to ensure UX designs align with validated service concepts and user needs.

Design System Alignment

  • Support the Client Experience / Human-AI Interaction Designer (Manager-level) on design system coherence across the Finance Operate Platform.
  • Apply established design patterns, component libraries, and interaction standards to new designs.
  • Contribute new reusable components and patterns to the platform design system based on incubation learnings.
  • Ensure consistency in visual design, interaction patterns, and UX terminology across all platform touchpoints.

Collaboration & Handoff

  • Partner with the Innovation Lead and technical delivery teams to ensure smooth design-to-development handoff.
  • Document design specifications, interaction flows, and UI requirements for engineering teams.
  • Participate in design reviews and sprint ceremonies with delivery teams.
  • Stay current on UX trends, design tools, and emerging interaction patterns relevant to enterprise platforms and AI-driven workflows.

The team

Our Finance Operate offering provides ongoing operation of the Finance function as an extension of Deloitte’s Finance Transformation Advise and Implement offering portfolio. The team works across finance strategy, process, operations, and technology to help organizations enable scalable finance outcomes. Professionals in this practice support delivery in complex environments while helping clients advance modernization across Finance Operate capabilities.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Communication, or related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in UX/UI design, product design, or interaction design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work.
  • Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrated experience designing enterprise software, dashboards, or workflow applications.
  • Strong facilitation and collaboration skills; comfortable working directly with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Experience running rapid prototyping and validation cycles in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred

  • Background in designing for AI-driven or agentic workflow interfaces.
  • Experience with Finance, ERP, or enterprise platform UX design.
  • Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and design token systems.
  • Knowledge of usability testing methods and validation frameworks.
