Work You’ll Do

The SAP Planner provides technical expertise to support joint planning and execution with specific responsibility for integrating Sensitive Activities (SA), Special Access Program (SAP) capabilities, and Alternative Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM) considerations into tactical, operational, and strategic planning. The role conducts research and supports the development, planning, staffing, coordination, integration, execution, and assessment of sensitive activities and related operational products. The SAP Planner also advises on the impact of national-level strategies, policies, and joint doctrine and provides SAP technical expertise for the management of SAP and other compartmented programs, accounts, and facilities


Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide tailored technical expertise to support planning, coordination, and execution of sensitive operational services and products during day-to-day operations, with emphasis on competition activities, while remaining prepared to support contingencies, crisis actions, disaster relief, and exercises

• Support planning and execution of SAP/ACCM-related special activities in support of operational objectives and the USFK competition approach

• Develop operational concepts, plans, annexes, tabs, estimates, and other deliverable products covering Sensitive Activities (SA) and SAP capabilities

• Review, analyze, and advise on the impact of national-level strategies, policies, and joint doctrine on operational planning and execution

• Research, develop, validate, utilize, analyze, and assess tools, capabilities, and processes related to SA and SAP mission support

• Provide administrative, technical, analytical, security, operations, and intelligence support for the development, planning, staffing, coordination, integration, execution, and assessment of sensitive activities

• Provide focused academic outreach, support experiments, and integrate scientific applications to enhance planning and mission effectiveness

• Provide SAP technical expertise and support for the management of SAP and other compartmented programs, accounts, and facilities

• Identify, evaluate, and recommend tools, applications, processes, and integrated solutions to improve planning effectiveness and mission execution

Qualifications

Required: 

• Bachelor’s degree

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 

• Active TS/SCI security clearance required

• 7+ years of experience in joint operational planning, sensitive activities support, SAP planning, or related roles

• Demonstrated experience producing and staffing plans, annexes, tabs, estimates, and related planning products across security, operations, and intelligence stakeholders

• Experience supporting SAP or other compartmented program environments and complying with associated access and training requirements

• Must be able to work 100% onsite at Camp Humphrey, Pyongtaek, South Korea


Preferred: 

• Experience supporting SAP/ACCM planning integration and governance processes

• Experience advising on national-level strategy, policy, and doctrine impacts to operational planning

• Experience supporting competition activities, contingency planning, crisis action planning, disaster relief, or military exercises 

• Completion of JPME Phase I required for military candidates; JPME Phase II preferred 

• Completion of Joint Planner Course or equivalent Service operational planning education preferred 

• Military or government training related to SAP, ACCM, Sensitive Activities, or compartmented planning preferred 

• Prior experience in joint, theater, or special program billets supporting compartmented planning, sensitive activity staffing, and cross-functional coordination preferred 

• Korea, INDOPACOM, contingency, crisis action, or exercise planning experience preferred

• Experience with academic outreach, experimentation, or scientific application integration

• Experience identifying and transitioning new tools or process improvements into operational use


For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Virginia, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to Virginia and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,700 to $207,800.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
