As a Consultant, Strategy & Transformation on the Industrial Strategy and Analysis team, you will be responsible for…
- Analyzing manufacturing systems, supplier networks, capacity constraints, and industrial ecosystem health to identify risks, trends, and opportunities
- Conducting defense industrial analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods to support client priorities
- Developing market and sector research, forecasts, and investment-focused analysis
- Preparing written products and briefing materials for government officials and other non-technical stakeholders
- Supporting analysis and reporting for senior leadership within the US government and Congress

Our team supports high-impact defense and government missions through data-driven analysis of industrial base capacity, supply chains, and market dynamics. Professionals in this practice help clients evaluate manufacturing ecosystems, identify constraints and investment opportunities, and translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for senior decision-makers. The work is fast-paced, mission-focused, and closely aligned to strategic priorities across the defense industrial landscape.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience, or Master's degree and 1+ year of experience, in defense industrial analysis, manufacturing analysis, supply chain analysis, market analysis, or policy analysis
- Active Secret security clearance
- Ability to work on-site in Alexandria, Virginia up to 5 days per week
- 1+ year of experience analyzing manufacturing systems, supplier networks, capacity constraints, or industrial ecosystem health
- 1+ year of experience briefing technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and producing written products for government officials
- 1+ year of experience supporting analysis and reporting for senior leadership within the US government, including defense industrial analysis, investment development and coordination, and market and sector forecasting
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance
- Master's degree in economics, public policy, engineering, business, supply chain, or operations research
