Work you'll do
As a Profitability Costing Allocations Manager, on the Business Finance team, you will be responsible for:
- Lead client engagements to solve complex business challenges related to finance transformation, profitability, and financial analytics
- Leveraging AI-enabled tools (Claude) to enable delivery transformation
- Manage and analyze structured and unstructured data and translate findings into insights that support business decision-making
- Lead the design and implementation of profitability and costing methodologies aligned to business and finance objectives
- Steer the development and deployment of technology-driven solutions while managing project execution, client deliverables, and stakeholder coordination

Within the Finance Transformation offering, our Business Finance team helps drive strategic value through financial planning, forecasting, and analytics capabilities. By leveraging next-gen processes, scalable data platforms, and AI, our team delivers accurate, timely, and actionable insights
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience in profitability reporting, costing, allocations, finance transformation, financial planning and analysis, or management consulting
- 4+ years of experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing data sets from multiple sources
- 4+ years of experience building cost and profitability models and using SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM) / Oracle Profitability Cost Management (PCM) or other profitability analytics solutions
- 4+ years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA and/or Oracle
- 3+ years of experience leading project workstreams, client deliverables, and junior team members
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Master of Business Administration, Master of Finance, Master of Accounting, or master's degree in Data Analytics or Information Systems
- Experience with profitability reporting, cost allocations, and costing frameworks
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, Oracle, or enterprise performance management platforms
- Experience developing dashboards or visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar tools
- Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Project Management Professional, or SAP certification
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $144,200 to $265,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
