Work You’ll Do: 

As a Pricing Analyst, you will report to the Pricing Team Lead of your assigned team, supporting the pricing of new and existing business opportunities across our Government and Public Services (GPS) practice. The Pricing Analyst will operate under supervision in the execution of the following key responsibilities:

  • Perform proposal preparation, coordinate vendor quotes, and participate in quality assurance reviews with guidance from the Pricing Team Lead. Perform proposal reviews with management in a support role.
  • Build and populate templates to facilitate identification and population of staff within the estimating data. Interact with Engagement Team, Procurement, and other Deloitte teams as applicable to collect data for proposals.
  • Assist in the development and communication of pricing and subcontracting strategies for proposals and execute those strategies within the proposal development process.
  • Develop cost / price proposal exhibits to convey the appropriate information necessary to convey our cost / price data effectively and compliantly.
  • Work with the Pricing Team Lead to develop Pricing’s requirements in the proposal planning process. Communicate those requirements to the pursuit team.
  • Review and interpret RFP/RFQ documentation with the Pricing Team Lead and pursuit team to assist in developing solicitation questions impacting pricing compliance and strategy.
  • Coordinate review of the pricing volume with the Pricing Team Lead, Pursuit leaders, and Firm leaders
  • Assist in the Pricing proposal content development prior to submission.
  • Perform job-related duties as assigned.

The GPS Enterprise Solutions team provides specialized support such as proposal pricing to Deloitte’s internal business units by developing new products and services to sustain our competitive advantage, while consistently improving our existing collection of systems, processes, and functions.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1+ years experience in professional service in one of the following disciplines: professional services labor pricing, program control, financial analysis, market research, or consulting focused on providing business strategies, competitive intelligence, or market research within the Federal marketplace.
  • 1+ years of analytical experience (interpretation of data and reporting results)
  • 1+ years of experience in the use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong focus on Excel modeling for analysis and data presentation, and PowerPoint for developing effective presentations
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

 
Preferred:

  • General knowledge of the proposal life cycle as well as contract types, including fixed-price, cost, T&M/LH; Commercial and State & Local a plus
  • Familiar with Federal or State/Local solicitation pricing requirements and evaluation criteria
  • Concepts of Cost vs. Price and general knowledge of cost accounting structures for direct and indirect costs
  • Ability to accurately develop and maintain pricing models, summarize data and perform peer validation / auditing functions
  • General awareness of contractual regulations relating to proposal pricing is a plus

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $51,900 to $95,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
