- Supporting changes to accounting strings and budget processes using Accounting Classification Structure (ACS)
- Analyzing current-state finance and budget processes to identify business, process, and control impacts
- Translating client and project needs into documented requirements, process flows, and implementation plans
- Coordinating with finance, accounting, budget, and technology stakeholders to support testing, issue resolution, and deployment activities
- Developing analyses, project materials, and status updates to support client delivery and decision-making

The team
Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience with Accounting Classification Structure (ACS) to support changes to the accounting string and budget processes
- Active Public Trust security clearance required
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting federal government finance, accounting, or budget transformation initiatives
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or financial management system implementations
- Experience documenting business requirements, process maps, and future-state workflows
- Experience supporting testing, defect tracking, and deployment activities for finance or budget process changes
- Experience developing client-ready analyses, status reports, and presentation materials
