Work You’ll Do
M&A I&D Senior Consultants at Deloitte are part of a team who create value for our clients by advising and aiding them to deliver faultless executions of M&A transactions across their enterprises. Our M&A I&D practitioners guide deal execution by aligning integration or divestiture strategies, Day 1 plans, and future-state goals to maximize value in complex market conditions. As a Deloitte Senior Consultant in M&A I&D, you will assist with synthesizing overall strategy by analyzing a wide variety of solutions. Our Senior Consultants select the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements such as business case, pricing or complex financial analysis; and interpreting and reporting on outputs. Senior Consultants participate in setting engagement objectives and scope, developing work plans for components of engagements, coordinating activities between workstreams, and identifying changes in scope. They also design deliverable content to precisely reflect the engagement contract and client needs, working alongside Managers. Senior Consultants strive to improve deliverable quality through verification and validation of results, serving as trusted advisors to corporate and private equity clients.
The Team
Our M&A team offers expert guidance to corporate and private equity clients in navigating complex growth and divestiture scenarios. Our services encompass M&A strategy and transaction diligence, integration and separation planning and execution, as well as transaction financing.

Our professionals are drawn from teams across the globe with experience that includes more than 15,000 transactions and over $1 Trillion dollars in deal value. Our specialized group of experts help our clients navigate complex market and economic conditions, which enables them to become prepared buyers or sellers, incorporating their divestment goals and planning for seamless execution to enhance deal value. Our dedicated group focuses on those activities of program management that are key to delivering value in an integration or divestiture. The scope of the work may include Day 1 certification; development of workplans and milestones; identification of functional interdependencies; facilitating cutover planning; testing and execution; or end-state blueprinting.
