Senior Manager, Life Sciences Technology Strategy
Join Deloitte’s Strategy practice as a Senior Manager, Life Sciences Technology Strategy and help life sciences organizations shape growth strategies enabled by technology, data, digital, and artificial intelligence. In this role, you will advise senior leaders on strategic choices that connect business priorities with technology investments, operating model decisions, and transformation roadmaps. The role offers the opportunity to lead client engagements, develop teams, and deliver outcomes across complex, enterprise-level initiatives.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Manager, Life Sciences Technology Strategy on the Strategy team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading technology strategy engagements for life sciences clients, including technology vision, investment priorities, and transformation roadmaps
- Advising client executives on digital, data, artificial intelligence, platform modernization, and operating model decisions
- Managing project plans, deliverables, and executive recommendations across multiple workstreams
- Translating market, business, and technology insights into business cases, capability priorities, and implementation paths
- Coaching teams, reviewing work product, and building client relationships that support delivery and business development

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in strategy consulting, technology strategy, or enterprise transformation
- 6+ years of experience serving life sciences clients
- 5+ years of experience leading technology strategy, digital transformation, or information technology roadmap engagements
- 3+ years of experience managing teams or workstreams and advising senior executives
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in business, engineering, computer science, life sciences, or a related field
- Experience supporting biopharma, medical technology, or healthcare clients
- Experience with digital, data, artificial intelligence, cloud, or enterprise platform strategy
- Experience developing business cases, capability roadmaps, or target operating models
- Experience supporting enterprise modernization, mergers and acquisitions, or product launch initiatives
- Experience with platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Veeva, or Oracle
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $223,700 to $372,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
