Position Summary

Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Legal Business Associate-Senior in Houston, Texas.

Work You’ll Do
Provide integrated approach to technology implementations, automation, data wrangling, document extraction, data management and analytics that help legal departments maximize the strategic value to the organization; deliver services to streamline client's process and increase efficiency by leveraging numerous applications; work with a team to optimize tax and legal process, leveraging technology to align tax and legal software with the clients' specific requirements and goals; develop and leverage automation and innovative solutions to aid in the efficiency of tax and legal departments; provide software support around day-to-day activities, related to processes and various technologies or situational changes; assist with project management tasks, such as creating workplans, tracking budgeted time to actual hours incurred, writing status reports, and actively participating in status calls; and assist clients with operating model evaluation, roadmap development for a desired future state, data management solutions, automation opportunities, tax portal, cloud for enterprise systems, agile resourcing models, risk, provision and compliance. Will commute within the Houston, TX area to consult with clients concerning the above duties.

Requirements
Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Information Systems, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus eighteen months of experience as a Legal Business Associate-Senior or related occupation gaining experience implementing and optimizing technology solutions, including DocuSign and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM).

Experience must include eighteen months of:
• utilizing Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint to perform requirements gathering, design, and implementation;
• assisting with CLM implementation projects, including gathering client requirements and configuring and deploying final designs;
• designing and implementing data processing algorithms and automation scripts in Python to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of report generation;
• implementing workflow automation within DocuSign, including routing, notifications, and conditional logic, to streamline document processes and increase efficiency;
• configuring DocuSign settings parameters according to the designed solution and ensuring compliance with client requirements and best practices;
• designing configurations, including document templates, fields, roles, and workflows, utilizing Visio;
• collaborating with cross functional teams, including software developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and define project scope;
• performing all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, analysis, planning, design, system information, performance tuning, features testing, and helping with security testing and support; and
• driving system integrations, including Salesforce, SAP, NetSuite, and CPQ.

Less than 10% domestic travel outside normal commuting distance.
