Work you'll do
As a Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the Business Finance team, you will be responsible for helping clients improve finance planning, forecasting, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
- Assess finance planning, forecasting, and management reporting processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Support the design and implementation of finance processes, data structures, and reporting solutions
- Build and refine financial models, scenario analyses, forecasts, and performance dashboards
- Translate business and finance requirements into process, data, and technology recommendations
- Support project delivery through analysis, documentation, testing, and client meeting preparation

The team
Deloitte’s Finance Transformation offering helps finance and global business services leaders navigate an increasingly challenging environment marked by disruptive tech like AI, market uncertainty, and regulatory change, and recognize the opportunity to better serve the enterprise, shareholders, customers, and regulators.
Within that offering, our Business Finance team helps drive strategic value through financial planning, forecasting, and analytics capabilities. By leveraging next-gen processes, scalable data platforms, and AI, our team delivers accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of experience in finance transformation, corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, or business finance
- 2+ years of experience developing financial models, forecasts, budgets, or management reports
- 1+ years of experience gathering business requirements and translating them into finance process, data, or reporting solutions
- 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, economics, or analytics
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning platforms, Anaplan, OneStream, Oracle, SAP, or Workday
- Experience with Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Experience supporting finance transformation or business finance work in a consulting environment
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) credential
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $91,100 to $179,500.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
