Enterprise Solutions Rotation – GPS ES – Operations – Presentation and Storyboarding Lead (Senior Consultant)
This is a 6-month rotational assignment with the Government & Public Services – Enterprise Solutions (GPS – ES) – Office of the Chief Operations Officer (OCOO) team, designed to provide the rotator with a valuable learning and development opportunity while contributing value to a high-priority and strategic internal project. Professionals interested in this rotation must obtain written approval from their home business People Leader and Coach prior to interviewing. If selected for the assignment, the rotator must obtain written approval from their home business People Leader and secondary approval Home Business Leader (i.e., Offering Leader in Consulting Services and Tax, Operating Unit Leader in Audit & Assurance, and Business Leader in Enterprise Solutions) to participate. During the assignment, the rotator remains an at-will employee of their current Deloitte employer, and Talent processes, guidelines, and compliance expectations will continue to align to the rotator’s home business (including, but not limited to, learning & development, coaching, performance management, compensation, and compliance). Upon conclusion of this rotation, the participant is expected to return to their prior role and responsibilities, or transition into an available position.

Work You Will Do
The Presentation & Storyboarding Lead is focused on creating clear, compelling, and visually polished PowerPoint presentations for a range of stakeholder including senior executives. This individual will translate complex inputs into crisp storylines, develop structured storyboards, and produce executive-ready decks that enable decisions, alignment, and action. On any given assignment, the Presentation & Storyboarding Lead may be responsible for the following activities:
- Storyboard and storyline development
- Convert raw inputs (notes, documents, workshops, SME interviews) into a logical narrative with a clear “so-what.”
- Build storyboards (slide-by-slide structure) including key messages, supporting evidence, and required visuals.
- Tailor messaging and depth for different audiences (executive briefings vs. operational working sessions).
- PowerPoint deck creation and production
- Produce high-quality decks in PowerPoint, including layouts, visual hierarchy, charts/graphics (as needed), and concise copy.
- Create and maintain reusable templates, slide modules, and libraries aligned to brand and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure formatting consistency, accessibility considerations, and overall “client-ready” quality.
- Stakeholder management and intake
- Lead deck intake: clarify objectives, audience, decision needed, and timing.
- Partner with content owners to validate storyline, accuracy, and approvals.
- Manage rapid-turn updates based on feedback; maintain version control.
- Executive briefing support
- Create leadership-level narratives (1–3 key messages, risks, options, recommendation).
- Develop succinct meeting materials (pre-reads, one-pagers, discussion guides) when needed.
The Team
The OCOO is a dynamic, fast-paced team that helps drive and deliver on top GPS priorities. The OCOO supports the GPS Chief Operations Officer (COO), who oversees GPS operations—providing end-to-end finance and operational support across the GPS business. Working at the center of the action, the OCOO connects stakeholders, drives execution against key initiatives, and helps ensure GPS has the operational foundation to perform and grow.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint (mastery of layouts, formatting discipline, slide architecture, and visual storytelling)
- 5+ years of experience in storyboarding and narrative structuring (pyramid principle / message-first writing)
- Proven experience tailoring communications for multiple stakeholder levels, including executive audiences
- Excellent editing skills: concise writing, tone control, and message clarity
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines with frequent iteration
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Experience creating or refining templates and slide standards for teams or leadership audiences
- Ability to create simple visuals (process flows, timelines, operating rhythms) that clarify complex ideas
