  • Develop, review, and maintain post orders and site-specific procedures; ensure alignment to company policies, safety requirements, and local needs
  • Standard guard operations across sites (e.g., access control, visitor management, incident reporting, patrol requirements, badging/escalation protocols)
  • Lead periodic site assessments and operational reviews to identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
  • Own the relationship with the contracted guard vendor: governance, performance reviews, service delivery, and continuous improvement
  • Define, monitor, and report program KPIs/SLAs (e.g., staffing fill rate, on-time arrivals, training completion, incident report timeliness/quality, post inspection scores, patrol compliance)
  • Conduct routine audits and post inspections (virtual and on-site), validate compliance, and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained
  • Manage escalations for performance issues, safety concerns, and conduct violations; coordinate investigations as needed.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and recurring reports for leadership (monthly/quarterly business reviews).
  • Analyze trends (incidents, staffing, overtime, call-offs, service failures) and implement prevention plans
  • Drive improvements to processes, technology adoption (as applicable), and guard training/communication.
  • Partner with local office/facilities leaders to ensure coverage meets site operating needs
  • Coordinate with internal Office of Security teams on incident response, policy updates, and vendor compliance
  • Support planning for new site onboarding, site moves, or changes in guard coverage
  • Support contract administration: scope adherence, change requests, rate card validation, and invoicing review
  • Ensure vendors meet contractual insurance, licensing, background screening, and training requirements

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship required
  • Bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in physical security operations, security program management, or facilities/vendor management with a national or multi-site scope
  • Demonstrated experience managing a third-party contract security provider and holding vendors accountable to SLAs/KPIs
  • Strong capability in writing/updating post orders, SOPs, and operational standards.
  • Proficiency with metrics and reporting
  • Excellent stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and escalation handling
  • Ability to travel domestically (estimate 50% travel for inspections, onboarding, and issue resolution
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc. due to after-hours escalation for critical incidents

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with access control/visitor management platforms and guard tour/patrol verification tools
  • Experience supporting corporate office environments and executive-facing locations
  • Familiarity with regulatory/licensing considerations for contract guard services across multiple states

The successful candidate will:
