Work You’ll Do
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data to support organizational supply system decision-making and strategic initiatives. This role develops and maintains data management processes, produces actionable supply system insights through data visualization and reporting and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure data-drive solutions align with organizational objectives. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, the ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, and a general understanding of supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather, clean, and validate data from multiple supply systems and surface ship maintenance data sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Develop and maintain databases, data systems, and data collection processes.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with applicable policies and standards.
• Analyze large and complex datasets from multiple supply systems incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate findings and support supply system decision-making.
• Translate analytical results into clear, actionable recommendations to improve supply system performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver analytical support for projects and initiatives.
• Present data-driven insights to stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Provide training and guidance with data with the best practices and tools as needed.
• Identify opportunities to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Stay current with best practices, analytical tools, and technologies to support ongoing improvement.

Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• 3+ years of experience with data analysis tools including Qlik, Databricks, Tableau, and/or Power BI
• Proven experience in data analysis (supply chain analysis preferred), business intelligence, or a similar analytical role
• Active Secret security clearance required
• Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
• Masters Degree in related field
• Background in developing and utilizing AI and ML as part of advanced data analytics
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience utilizing supply and maintenance database programs including Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), FedMall, One Touch Supply (OTS), Material Access Technology (MAT), Material Requirement (MRQT), Business Objects, Haystack, LogiQuest, and/or Navy Enterprise Resource Program (ERP).
