Work You’ll Do
As an experienced Cybersecurity Instructor/Curriculum Developer, you will be expected to:
- Design and develop training objectives, curricula, instructor guides, student guides, job aids, course outlines, and other course material utilizing instructional design models
- Consult with client to develop learning objectives and training approach
- Research, analyze, design, develop, and customize instructional materials to potentially support WBT (Web-Based Training)/CBT (Computer-Based Training)/ILT (Instructor-Led Training)
- Apply various instructional strategies, models, and theories to develop learning content to enhance learning transfer and greater on-the-job performance
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure impactful, relevant course content and supporting training range
- Present/Instruct developed courseware
- Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
- Active Secret clearance required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future.
- Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Local to Colorado Springs, CO and able to come onsite 5 days a week in Colorado Springs, CO
- 3+ years of cyber security experience with emphasis on cybersecurity course training development and 3 years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS (Elastic Stack, Splunk, HBSS, or equivalent).
- 2+ years of experience with Windows and Linux command line, networking, traffic analysis and MITRE ATT&CK.
- 1+ year of experience working on a cybersecurity team, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cyber Protection Team (CPT) or Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP).
Preferred:
- Certified Information Systems Security Officer (CISSO) certification
- Sec+ Certification
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $147,600.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
