Work You’ll Do

This position will assist with multiple data tracking, reporting and system requirements tasks managed by the Business Intelligence team within GPS Contracts Procurement & Operations (GCPO). As a Business Intelligence Systems Governance & Architecture Analyst, you will:

  • Provide data analysis and entry support into internal and client systems.
  • Use advanced analytical and forensic skills to review data throughout the lifecycle of a contract and subcontract (pre-award, performance, closeout) and participate in coordinated actions required in response to reporting deliverables.
  • Be responsible for monitoring and tracking to completion system change requirements following up with stakeholders to closure and alerting management when issues arise.
  • Assist in maintaining the record deletion process by reviewing and updating records as needed, understanding various types of data records and how they interact across multiple business systems, and flagging any discrepancies or issues to the team lead or manager.
  • Assist with issue resolution and rapid communication drafting, distribution and response monitoring, working in partnership with other sub-teams within the GCPO Business Intelligence team structure (Reporting & Analytics, Operations & Support, etc.).

The Team

The Business Intelligence Systems Governance & Architecture team resides within GPS Contracts Procurement & Operations (GCPO) and ensures all data and system enhancements/change requirements are tracked and successfully communicated to all applicable stakeholders. The team is centered on supporting the firm’s ability to effectively manage and support US federal government, US state/local government, and higher education contracts-related data, systems and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1+ years of experience in analytics and/or reporting
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • 1+ years of experience with government contracting agreement structures and filing requirements
  • 1+ years of experience with MS suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • 1+ years of experience writing process/work instruction documentation

Preferred:

  • Comfortable using MS SharePoint and Teams as a content owner/provider
  • Analytical thinker who completes timely forensic, investigative tasks
  • Quick learner of technology systems and system data
  • Familiarity with FAR, DFAR, and other supplements
  • Familiarity with data entry and reporting within SAM.gov, eSRS
  • Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, or other analytics platforms
  • Degree in public policy/administration, data analytics or related field
  • Strong ability to work in a virtual team environment
  • Skilled communicator who can coordinate required actions with internal practitioners and write clear instructions
  • Ability to identify, collaborate, and execute on process improvement opportunities
  • Ability to oversee a wide portfolio of tasks to include responsiveness to audit inquiries
  • Attention to data security and handling of potentially sensitive information

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $57,300 to $95,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
