Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.
Work you'll do
As a Senior Consultant, Controllership on the Government & Public Services team, you will be responsible for supporting financial operations for classified programs and helping clients strengthen finance processes in secure environments.
- Support financial operations for classified programs in alignment with client requirements and engagement objectives
- Support the development, implementation, and documentation of financial processes for classified programs
- Support the design and execution of internal controls tailored to classified program requirements
- Apply government financial regulations and audit standards in support of client deliverables and compliance activities
- Maintain adherence to security protocols and safeguard sensitive financial information in accordance with program requirements

We work with the CFO, CAO, controller, and treasurer to develop an efficient, high quality, data-driven, tech-enabled controllership and treasury function that empowers our clients to drive more value to their business partners and to their investors.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
- 2+ years of financial management or accounting experience
- Experience with government financial regulations, audit standards, and internal controls
- Ability to work onsite 80% of the time in Arlington, Virginia
- Ability to travel 10-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Preferred:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)
- Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) or financial reporting experience
