Associate Vice President, Engineering Managed Services

As an Associate Vice President, Engineering Managed Services in our AI & Engineering Engineering-as-a-Service team, you will lead the strategy, delivery, and evolution of complex managed services and engineering engagements for major clients. You will bring together technology strategy, solution architecture, delivery leadership, and operational excellence to help clients modernize platforms, improve resiliency, and accelerate business value.

AI & Engineering leverages cutting-edge engineering capabilities to build, deploy, and operate integrated/verticalized sector solutions in software, data, AI, network, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. These solutions are powered by engineering for business advantage, transforming mission-critical operations. We enable clients to stay ahead with the latest advancements by transforming engineering teams and modernizing technology & data platforms. Engineering as a Service provides complete design, implementation, and technology operations, leveraging our core engineering expertise. We transform engineering teams, modernize technology, and deliver complex programs with a product engineering approach. Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation.

Work You’ll Do

  • Lead the strategy, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications and managed services solutions using a broad spectrum of modern enterprise technologies, with a focus on innovation, resiliency, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Shape and oversee complex programs from inception through execution, including defining scope, solution approach, architecture, delivery model, and resource strategy in collaboration with cross-functional leaders.
  • Serve as the senior technology leader across engagements, evaluating current-state application landscapes, identifying modernization opportunities, and guiding target-state architecture and transformation roadmaps.
  • Drive successful implementation of solution architectures by managing delivery quality, stakeholder expectations, program risks, dependencies, and overall outcomes across global and distributed teams.
  • Provide oversight and quality review across key deliverables, ensuring technical rigor, consistency, and alignment to client objectives, business priorities, and enterprise standards.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client and internal leadership, partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, architects, engineers, testers, and third-party vendors to align technology decisions with business outcomes.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams by coaching engineering and architecture leaders, mentoring practitioners, enabling knowledge sharing, and fostering continuous improvement in delivery methods, engineering practices, and AI adoption.
  • Oversee engagement financials, staffing strategy, utilization, and delivery governance to drive operational efficiency, profitability, and sustained client satisfaction.
  • Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, solutioning, client presentations, and growth strategies tied to managed services and engineering transformation opportunities.
  • Champion the practical use of AI and automation to improve engineering productivity, service delivery efficiency, and client impact.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of consulting or industry experience, including significant experience leading large, globally distributed teams and managing onshore/offshore delivery models.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical solution delivery, including architecture, design, evaluation, and implementation of enterprise solutions in cloud environments.
  • Demonstrated experience assessing and modernizing existing application architectures and leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead complex delivery teams, review critical deliverables, provide technical and program leadership, and manage senior client stakeholders.
  • Experience operating across complex stakeholder environments, including end clients, business leaders, product teams, project managers, scrum teams, architects, developers, testers, and third-party vendors.
  • Strong executive communication, presentation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and drive alignment across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing delivery in multi-vendor environments and coordinating across external partners and service providers.
  • Demonstrated use of AI and automation in project delivery to improve efficiency, quality, and speed.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on client, project, and business needs.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred

  • Experience leading large-scale modernization, cloud transformation, platform engineering, and CI/CD transformation programs.
  • Experience presenting technology strategies, architecture recommendations, and delivery updates to executive and senior business audiences.
  • Experience with engagement financial management, including budget oversight, forecasting, margin management, and workforce planning.
  • Proven involvement in business development, including pursuit support, proposal development, and solution shaping.
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, or other relevant architecture and engineering credentials.
  • Master’s degree in technology, engineering, business, or a related field.
