Work you’ll do
The Academic Partnership Program Coordinator & Analyst supports two lines of effort (LOE) within the Applied Research and Information Sharing (ARIS) Branch at the Center for Excellence in Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance (CFE-DM).
The first LOE supports the ARIS Research and Academic Partnership Program through administrative and program coordination assistance. This role maintains multiple research project timelines while supporting internal and external documentation and collaboration with students, faculty, and partner organizations.
The second LOE focuses on producing Disaster Management Reference Country Handbooks for select Asia-Pacific countries. These handbooks provide operationally relevant overviews of national disaster management capabilities and vulnerabilities, contributing to a broader disaster management knowledge base and supporting improved response coordination through best practices and lessons learned.
This is an on-site position located on Ford Island, Oahu, Hawaii, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule (8 hours/day, 40 hours/week). This is not a teleworking position. Travel is required (CONUS and OCONUS) up to 10%, supporting research symposiums, workshops, trainings, exercises, and other whole-of-Center activities.
The position also produces statistical research reports and studies using DMHA data, applying structured research methodologies to generate practical, decision-relevant findings for civil-military audiences.

Qualifications
Required:
- Masters degree
- Active Secret Clearance
- 5+ years of professional experience
- 2+ years of experience analyzing and synthesizing information, including writing and editing disaster management-related products.
- 2+ years of experience accurately communicating DMHA content in Standard U.S. English.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- Strong interpersonal skills and professional communications with diverse stakeholders; ability to adapt to shifting deliverables and timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple concurrent tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain strong time management discipline.
- Strong Microsoft Word skills, including formatting, editing, and publishing technical reports, planning documents, and/or fact sheets.
- Experience with public speaking, presentations, and facilitating groups.
- Ability to take direction while working independently with high autonomy; collaborative approach and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Experience producing products that promote civil-military coordination during humanitarian assistance and disaster response missions and training.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $102,750 to $171,250.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
