The Team
Our AI & Data practice offers comprehensive solutions for designing, developing, and operating advanced Data and AI platforms, products, insights, and services. We help clients innovate, enhance, and manage their data, AI, and analytics capabilities, ensuring they can grow and scale effectively.

Work you’ll do
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data solutions using Databricks, delivering value across a variety of industry verticals.
- Implement end-to-end data engineering solutions:
- Architect and develop data lake solutions that integrate multiple data sources and support advanced analytics and business intelligence.
- Build and operationalize real-time data pipelines in Databricks and modern cloud environments, enabling timely insights for business operations.
- Develop, test, and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions to meet diverse client requirements.
- Utilize strong programming skills in Python, Scala, and/or SQL to deliver data engineering tasks at scale.
- Support data architecture, quality, and governance initiatives to ensure reliability, security, and compliance within client ecosystems.
- Foster partnership with client business and technology teams, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills to understand and translate requirements into practical solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years experience with relevant technology consulting experience to include, enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures for data and analytics, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management
- 5+ years of relevant technology architecture consulting or industry experience with ability to contribute to an end-to-end cloud architecture and solution, to include implementations using AWS, Azure and/or GCP
- 4+ years experience with SQL, Python, PySpark, Scala or Java
- 3+ years experience with Databricks, to include
- Implementation of a data lake solution using Databricks, integrating various data sources, and enabling analytics for business intelligence.
- Development of a real-time data processing pipeline using Databricks and cloud services, delivering insights for operational decision-making
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- 1+ years experience leading, managing and delivering complex technology engagements with resources in multiple locations
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (ie: MS PowerPoint)
- Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful implementation of customer projects
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
- Experience driving both the sales cycle - by taking the lead in framing out client opportunities, and leading the pursuit team to create the proposal content for client discussions
- Demonstrated experience with management and delivery of multiple strategic engagements for large global organization
- An advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $136,700 -$188,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
