The Cloud Engineering Modern Workplace team provides Implementation and Transformation services for Directory Services, Identity, Endpoint Management, Infrastructure and Collaboration technologies leveraging innovative solutions in the market powered by AI. Modern Workplace offering provides workplace transformation planning, architecture, and execution services to support the transition of end user services infrastructure between environments. Spanning multiple technologies, providing services across the lifecycle from strategy to implementation or transformation to operations.

Our team brings clients depth of knowledge on workplace solutions, combined with deep infrastructure expertise to help solve the complex end user compute challenges.

The Modern Workplace offering serves a wide range of clients, including large enterprises, mid-sized companies, and various industry sectors such as financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail. It provides significant benefits to IT departments, human resources, employees (remote, on-site, and hybrid), and executives. For IT departments, it simplifies IT management and enhances security, while HR managers and talent acquisition teams use it to improve employee engagement and onboarding processes. Work you’ll do

As a Modern Workplace Specialist Executive, you will bring considerable capability expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients. Specialist Executives are expected to emphasize sales, relationships, and marketplace

eminence to support business growth objectives. Other position responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
  • Leverage existing relationships in the market to identify/close deals. Create market opportunities and growth for the Firm through personal brand and external eminence.
  • Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
  • Develop practical solutions and methodologies; develop "thoughtware" and "point-of-view" documents; participate in public speaking events; get published in industry periodicals.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 12+ years relevant consulting and/or industry experience
  • 12+ years of experience reporting to C-level client contacts, managing client teams, on/off-site, and offshore functional and technical teams
  • 12 years of experience in translating requirements into optimized designs, and identifying design alternatives and implications on functionality, effort, performance, and operations
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred skills

  • Advanced degree in area of specialization
  • 12+ years’ experience in one or more of the following various sector packages; Active Directory (implementation and migration), O365/M365 technologies (implementation and migration), Intune, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Endpoints and Endpoint management technologies, and Experience with Copilot.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $235,500 to $392,500.
