Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Consultant in Chicago, Illinois and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.
Work You’ll Do
Provide software development and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, design to development, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Provide support for all phases of the software development lifecycle utilizing Software Development Life Cycle methodologies for project implementation, including preparation, business blue printing, realization, go-live, and post go-live support. Utilize major software platforms and create custom coding artifacts using various programming languages. Build, deploy and maintain customized tools or software to modernize legacy application architecture. Evaluate technology needs, develop customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation; identify and mitigate risks in process and technology for engagements. Research user reported issues with software applications, identifying root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have one year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires one year of related work experience in each of the following:
- Performing assessments of existing information systems and identifying gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities, utilizing product upgrade schedules and software compatibility matrixes for Enterprise Content Management (ECM), including OpenText Documentum and OpenText Intelligent Capture;
- Creating technical and functional specifications, including screen layouts, navigation flows, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Jira, Microsoft (MS) Office Suite, and MS Visio;
- Creating web applications using ECM tools including OpenText Documentum and Opentext Intelligent Capture to provide service and data to users;
- Designing and developing applications using Visual Studio, Eclipse, PuTTY, and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) to meet functional needs for software applications;
- Architecting, implementing and supporting ECM applications deployed on Linux and Windows Server infrastructure and topologies;
- Performing data cleansing and conversions, and systems development utilizing the Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Process, MS PowerShell, Bash Script, and SQL; and
- Working with a team of developers to both produce new components and resolve defects through a standard defect resolution process, utilizing Jira and Agile methodology.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week;
Annual Salary: $93,225.00 - $155,375.00.
