Work you’ll do
As a Personal Monitoring (Audits) Senior Analyst, you’ll use your analytical, research and investigative skills to:
- Maintain the independence of the Deloitte entities and personal independence of our professionals.
- Manage a team of auditors, ensuring the quality of audits meets established standards, and assist them in achieving their quantity goals.
- Conduct thorough reviews of independence audits to ensure that they adhere to the highest quality standards in compliance with the Firm's independence policy and guidance.
- Perform audits on senior leadership and others as well is identify potential areas of non-compliance to Deloitte policies and offer suggestions on how to improve compliance rates.
- Effectively monitor our people's adherence to firm policy.
- Provide critical assurance to firm leadership and other outside regulatory bodies that Deloitte has independence quality control procedures in place to effectively monitor our people's adherence to firm policy and regulatory requirements.
- Work with team management to help improve audit processes to gain efficiencies.
- Help present findings to the management team and leadership in charge of the team
- Help train and oversee younger professionals.
- Work on special projects to increase skills and obtain specialized knowledge.

Independence & Conflicts Network
The Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN) Personal Monitoring team performs a critical consultative, quality-assurance and risk-management function for the Deloitte US Firms, helping the organization remain unbiased and free from conflicts-of-interest, in fact and appearance, when providing service to attest/audit clients. Independence requirements are defined by specific sets of policies, external rules and regulations, so maintaining both the independence of the Deloitte US Firms and personal independence is essential to the business and reputation of Deloitte.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors’ degree (preferably business, finance or accounting)
- 3+ years of external audit, internal audit, regulatory compliance or comparable experience
- Familiarity with financial services and investments and an understanding of common financial instruments used by business executives
- Proficiency in managing and leading personnel
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred:
- An understanding of Independence requirements for professional auditing firms

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,400- $165,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
