Position Summary

Oracle EPM Manager

Finance and Performance – unlocking financial performance and enterprise value.

We work as trusted advisors to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and other key executives to advise, implement, and deliver as-a-service solutions, improving finance operations and helping clients develop strategies to support enterprise-wide decision making.

Work you will do ~

As a Manager, you will lead and deliver small engagements or components of larger, more complex Finance Transformation engagements (related to Enterprise Performance Management) by identifying, designing, and implementing creative business and technology solutions for large companies.

Managers ~

·         Provide service excellence by identifying key client business issues.

·         Determine client needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches.

·         Define recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement.

·         Implement and oversee the quality of deliverables by effectively managing the team and day to day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.

·         Participate in the development and presentation of proposals for business development activities.

·         Manage, mentor, and develop team members.

The Team

Our Finance and Performance team works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement, and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.

Finance Insights & Transformation

Our FI&T team transforms Finance from function to dynamic capability. As finance cycles converge, we advise, implement, and operate Best in Class solutions across actuals and forecasts to accelerate insights including finance and analytics, planning, FP&A as -a-service, finance technology strategy, and ERP enabled finance transformation.

Required Qualifications

§  Must have completed at least two (2) full life cycle cloud-based Oracle EPM implementations to include one or more of the following Oracle EPM modules ~ EPBCS, FCCS, and/or ARCS

§  6+ years of relevant consulting experience in a corporate environment or with a large or boutique consulting firm or serving as an internal consultant within industry.

§  Demonstrated experience in developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.

§  Relevant experience in technology implementation methodology and cycles (i.e., development, testing, documentation, cutover, deployment, hypercare).

§  Proven delivery experience in managing resources and scope & budget with emphasis on Oracle EPM implementation solutions.

§  Proven experience of having led delivery teams (onsite and/or offshore) implementing Oracle EPM solutions.

§  Proven experience interacting and communicating improvements and requirements with both business oriented and IT oriented clients.

§  Proven history of success in identifying and addressing client needs and developing EPM solutions that solve complex business problems.

§  Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients ~ industry sectors you serve.

§  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

§  Limited Immigration Sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications

·         Understanding of finance business processes and actual corporate reporting requirements

·         Relevant knowledge of or experience with benchmarks and best practices

·         Ability to interact at all levels of the client organization, build consensus, and foster change.

·         Ability to work independently, manage engagements or parts of larger engagements.

·         Experience with presales, proposals, and RFP activities.

·         Superior analytical and critical thinking skills.

·         Willingness to mentor and counsel junior staff

·         Strong oral and written communication skills ~ to include presentation skills; professional competence with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams)

·         Experience with multiple Oracle EPM module implementations.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,700 to $229,500.
