Position Summary

Work you’ll do 

As a Workday Financials Functional Sr. Consultant, you should expect to be involved in the following supporting our Higher Education Clients:

  • Act as the Functional team lead
  • Work with the project team on business requirement definition and translation into configuration requirements in Higher-Education
  • Be the escalation point for critical functional issue
  • Provide direction and guidance to functional consultants
  • Serve as the primary correspondent for client communications

The Emerging ERP Solutions Team


The Emerging ERP Solutions practice helps implement cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as Workday Financials and Infor. Teams support finance and supply-chain transformations where the software is a true enabler of process change and cost reduction. This approach differentiates itself from on-premise / cloud applications such as SAP and Oracle.

 

Teams, however, do more than just implement technology. They help produce sustainable business outcomes for clients by drawing on the experience and knowledge of Deloitte colleagues across service offerings and portfolios.

 

Our Workday practice is the implementation partner of choice for Workday's largest clients.  We have over 1000 Workday certified professionals working on the most comprehensive and complex projects in North America and we are looking for high energy, committed and ambitious people to join our Workday community.

Qualifications 

Required:

 

  • 4 years of consulting experience, ideally with a large consulting firm.
  • Workday Financials knowledge nd hands on experience
  • Experience in Workday implementations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Travel up to 25-50% (While 25-50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. 

 

Preferred: 


  • Workday Financials Certified is preferred but NOT required
