Work you’ll do 

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Financials - Spend Lead to join our ERP Implementation Team. The Spend Lead will play a critical role in the successful deployment of the Workday Financials module, focusing specifically on spend management processes. This position will be responsible for leading the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday solutions related to procurement, supplier management, expenses, and accounts payable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of Workday Financials focusing on spend management, including design, configuration, and integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business requirements with Workday solutions in procurement, supplier management, expenses, and accounts payable.
  • Develop and execute test plans, ensure data integrity, and manage conversion and integration activities.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to drive alignment, adoption, and project success, while maintaining timelines, deliverables, and budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, monitor project progress, and provide updates to the ERP Program Manager.
  • Serve as the main contact for inquiries, conduct workshops, and facilitate communication between teams.
  • Identify process improvements, stay updated with Workday enhancements, and provide ongoing support post-implementation.

The Emerging ERP Solutions practice helps implement cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications such as Workday Financials and Infor. Teams support finance and supply-chain transformations where the software is a true enabler of process change and cost reduction.

Qualifications 

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in ERP implementation, with a focus on spend management.
  • Experience with Workday Financials implementation, specifically in procurement, supplier management, expenses, and accounts payable.
  • Ability to travel 25%, on average, based on work requirements and client industries/sectors served.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

  • Workday Financials certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
