Position Summary

As an experienced Video Multimedia Quality Assurance (QA) engineer, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities  

  • Responsible for the entire process of Video testing, including requirements analysis, design review, formulating test plans, designing and executing test cases, conducting defect tracking and software quality analysis, etc.
  • Participate in the development of automated testing tools/frameworks, design and execution of automated test cases, automatically building test environments, and continuous integration.
  • Understand the tools and techniques used in developing new products and work with cross-functionality teams to establish and refine dashboards and metrics to facilitate our data-driven approach.
  • Be part of a Product Delivery team supporting large media client.

The US Cloud Engineering Offering focuses on enabling our client’s end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, with opportunities in the areas of Cloud Strategy and Op Model Transformation, Cloud Development & Integration, Cloud Migration, and Cloud Infrastructure & Managed Services. Cloud Engineering supports our clients as they improve agility, resilience and identifies opportunities to reduce IT operations spend through automation by enabling Cloud. We accelerate our clients toward a technology-driven future, leveraging vendor solutions, Deloitte-developed software products, tools, and accelerators.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years experience as a QA Engineer
  • 3+ years experience with video/audio chatting, video conference, or live streaming testing on iOS or Android
  • 3+ years experiences with video/audio quality analysis, familiar with at least one quality analyzing tool
  • 2+ years experience in one of the following: Python, Shell, Java
  • 2+ years experience in data analytics
  • Skilled in video/audio codec, container or streaming protocol
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Consulting background. Experience working at client sites.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Remote work up available initially; then hybrid work model with 2-3 days at the client site in Mountain View, CA
  • Live in or willing to relocate to Silicon Valley area

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline
  • Live in or near Silicon Valley
  • Experience with FFmpeg, VLC, OBS studio, Media soup
  • Skilled in H264, MP4, RTMP, RTP
