Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Under UX Senior Researchers guidance (when appropriate) leading strategic design and execution of user-centered research and usability studies that provide actionable insights which influence design and development of associate, branch team and client systems, tools, applications and processes.
- Collaborating and supporting business areas and objectives that align to firm, division and department priorities and focus on client and user centricity.
- Designing and executing user research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Determining and recommending the most efficient and effective research approaches to solve for business needs and meet agreed-upon objectives, then guiding business areas through the appropriate UX process.
- Applying appropriate change management best practices and approach to build rapport, understand user needs, address resistance and reinforce key learnings or results.
- Monitoring UX project execution, including establishing and tracking UX project metrics and conducting evaluations.
- Identifying, influencing, supporting and partnering with multi-disciplinary teams, including other business areas, to execute UX projects.
- Taking ownership for self-development, staying current with research techniques and tools in the field of UX.
- Working with and providing supporting documentation to others that influences product, system or application development and implementation to ensure creation of efficient, sustainable and successful results.
- Mentoring and assisting the UX Researcher I as it relates to similar UX project needs.

Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience.
· 2+ years' experience in User Experience research or business analysis.
· Proficient in screening and recruiting participants.
· Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative user experience research methodologies.
· Proactively develops self in the field of current and emerging research and technology.
· Proficient in critical thinking, strategic thinking, process improvement, relationship-building and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficient in written and verbal communication.
· Able to research, analyze and consolidate data into trends and share with teams.
· Proficient in project management and organizational skills.
· Able to establish and maintain effective relationships across departments, business areas, and vendors.
· Responds well to direction, embraces feedback and change.
· Presents ideas, thoughts, arguments, and information persuasively. Seen as credible and trustworthy.

This compensation range is specific to Los Angeles and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $82,000-$122,000.
