Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
- Crafts effective and usable design concepts, interaction, and visual design artifacts with high attention to detail and accessibility standards.
- Ensures that delivered designs are consistent with appropriate design systems and contributes to the continued enhancement and growth of design systems.
- Participates in and may sometimes facilitate design sprints and iterations.
- Executes design work within a design sprint, in collaboration with Product Management, UX and development partners.
- Participates in and may sometimes facilitate design strategy, concepting and definition activities including design thinking, service design blueprinting, journey mapping, user flow mapping and other UX methods.
- Delivers related artifacts.
- Provides constructive design feedback to other designers as part of design critique.
- Seeks out and collaborates closely with other designers in and outside of their product team
- on design patterns and approach across experiences.
- Collaborates closely with Product Managers and Product Owners to speak on behalf of the user to influence the direction of a product or experience and its associated roadmap.
- In close collaboration with Product Manager and Product Owner, and with input and consideration for other UX team members, leads the management of own design tasks including defining those design tasks, scoping design tasks, setting appropriate targeted
- milestones and prioritizing design tasks.
- Ability to integrate vendor/third-party applications and propriety, “in house” products into a holistic user experience.
- Implements and aligns with UX Chapter defined processes and best practices within product team. Educates and is an ambassador for UX processes and value on team.
- Supports and collaborates with a variety of UX disciplines across divisions to deliver high quality user experiences and achieve strategic business and UX goals.

Qualifications
Required
· Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Information technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline or equivalent experience.
- 3-6 years professional design experience.
- Experience in a wide variety of UX Design methods and tools including user journey
- mapping, design thinking, information architecture, low-fidelity design, high-fidelity design, design systems, accessibility in design, and prototyping.
- Some experience in design thinking facilitation preferred.
- Experience delivering responsive design solutions for a variety of devices and form factors.
- Competency in front-end development and collaborating closely with development is preferred.
- Able to establish and maintain effective relationships across team members, product team and vendor partners.
- Excellent collaboration and motivational skills.
- Takes ownership for self-development and stays current with UX skills including UX Design techniques, tools, and best practices.
