As the Technology Enablement Senior Consultant on our Finance & Enterprise Performance team, you will work with Finance Executives to assess the impact of large scale ERP enablement on end-to-end Finance processes, align to an overall vision for the future of the Finance organization, and design and deliver solutions driven by technology enablement. You will act as the Finance advocate and provide finance functional expertise on large scale ERP and EPM deployments.
As a Deloitte Senior Consultant, you will collaboratively work with Deloitte team members and client counterparts to identify current state deficiencies and deliver end to end solutions supported via ERP enablement.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Acting as the bridge between Finance Executives, Solution Architects, and technical/IT practitioners to ensure Finance priorities are understood and aligned to
* Collaborating with leadership to establish and manage the IT Operations processes and working model in support of the ERP driven transformation (intake, working model, SLAs, etc.)
* Assisting with the documentation of Finance requirements, current and future state processes, alignment to standard functionality (e.g., fit/gap, automated vs manual processes), and impacts to the Finance business teams
* Designing Finance data models to support ERP and broader Finance requirements (CoA, cost centers, profit centers, products, customers, etc.)
* Ensuring implementation of post-production support model and processes
* Identifying and implementing KPIs and metrics for the new ERP ecosystem
Analysis of Finance Organization, Operating Model, and Processes:
* Finance capability and maturity assessment
* Finance visioning, business case, and roadmap development
* Service delivery model strategy
* Capital allocation strategy
* Finance organization design
Analysis and optimization of processes and policies through the lens of ERP enablement, specific to:
* Planning, budgeting, and forecasting (Corporate)
* Business Unit Finance
* Record to Report process
* Order to Cash
* Procure to Pay
* Management reporting and analytics design
* Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) design
The team
Finance & Enterprise Performance
Our Finance & Enterprise Performance team works as a trusted advisor to CFOs, COOs, CIOs, and key executives. We advise, implement, and deliver as-a-service solutions, helping our clients develop strategies and capabilities to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and create impact within their organization.
Qualifications
Required:
* 5+ years (or 3+ years of experience, plus an advanced degree in either business or technology) working in Finance organizations or consulting setting, advising CFO’s on one or more of the following areas: finance transformation, process improvements, financial planning redesign, service delivery model design and implementation
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
* Practical experience in Finance Service Delivery, Finance Operations, FP&A, Finance Strategy, or EPM
* Experience collaborating in the development of a vision for the Finance organization and working on large scale transformation projects encompassing finance process redesign, service delivery model development, and technology implementations.
* Strong Finance functional expertise in at least one ERP (SAP, Oracle, Workday) and/or EPM (SAP, Oracle, Workday (Adaptive), OneStream, Anaplan).
* Strong understanding of ERP or EPM capabilities aligned to at least one critical business process (Record to Report, Order to Collect, Procure to Pay, Specialized Finance, FP&A)
* Deep understanding of ERP and/or EPM capabilities and the ability to align ‘out of box’ functionality with desired Finance future state capabilities
* Understanding and experience with system deployment methodologies (Agile, Hybrid Agile, Waterfall)
* Experience in ERP and EPM design, fit gap, and UAT processes
* Experience with ‘Finance in a Digital World’ technologies such as process automation through robotics, predictive analytics and visualization etc.
* Must live within commuting distance to one of Deloitte’s consulting offices
* Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
* Experience with Agile program delivery
* Ability to translate technology functionality into process improvements
* Ability to define and dialogue on benefits of technology solutions and how work would change as a result

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. We would not anticipate that the individual hired into this role would land at or near the top end of the range, but such a decision will be dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the range is $113,000 to $189,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
