Position Summary

Work you’ll do 

  • Provide hands-on test automation support in writing, maintaining, and improving test code with best coding practices followed
  • Provide proactive guidance, comprehensive documentation and continual assessment of function and test automation delivery across projects
  • Translate broad strategies into specific action plans, utilizing existing resources and information to achieve strategic objectives and improve business results
  • Lead technical transformation within the team moving from a manual testing approach to an automation approach
  • Work closely with test teams, developers, business, and vendor partners to drive and promote technical design in all our engineering processes
  • Drive the team to become more adaptable in quality assurance through test automation, and Continuous Testing practices

The Systems Engineering offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Systems Engineering offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business, provide operational value, drive down the cost of quality, and enhance technology innovation.

Qualifications 

Required: 

  • Active TS/SCI clearance required
  • 5 to 7 year(s) of experience using Test Management, Defect Tracking, Requirements Management, and Modeling tools, including automated testing tools framework experience
  • BS in Computer Science or Information Technology, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience from which knowledge and skills may be obtained
  • Familiarity with Typescript and writing/designing tests in Typescript for both backend and frontend code (React & Material UI)
  • Strong Programming skills required (preferably Java/JavaScript/TypeScript/C#) - Solid grasp of object-oriented programming, databases, development, and testing methodologies
  • Strong knowledge of databases (Postgres, SQL Server, MongoDB), SQL, UNIX Shell Scripting
  • This position is expected to work at the NAC 19 Washington DC, NW with the option for remote work when performing duties on the unclassified development environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred: 

  • Experience with implementing and maintaining a CI/CD pipeline with automated test and code quality capabilities
  • Experience with SonarQube a plus. Experience with Playwright a strong plus
  • Experience working with JSON, XML and unstructured data
  • Experience with AWS (Lambdas, SAM, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, DMS)
  • Solid grasp and experience with automation concepts, tools, and techniques
  • Validated knowledge of industry standard automation test tools like Selenium, Protractor etc
  • Expertise in working with DevOps implementation
  • Experience with successful Agile/SCRUM team delivering test automation
