Work you’ll do

The role will involve the following activities:

  • Conduct focused analysis of Voice/Data usage, including an audit of existing circuits to identify under and un-used circuits
  • Review and analyze current and proposed industry and existing vendor pricing and service models, and provide specific solutions and strategies to optimize an as of yet un-awarded Voice and Data blanket ordering agreement
  • Provide solutions for Telecom Expense Management (TEM) for both wired and wireless categories
  • Provide assistance with contract negotiation to achieve commercial Best Pricing

Qualifications 

Required: 

·       Bachelor’s degree required  

·       Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future 

·       Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role 

·       A minimum of three-five years demonstrated experience in hands-on telecom strategic sourcing resulting in real cost savings and strategic sourcing (acquisition) lifecycle processes

·       Travel up to 25%(While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice) 

 

Preferred: 

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and coordinate work with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated experience and familiarity with maintaining required acquisition integrity and information security controls
  • Demonstrated experience as a Telecom IT Strategic Sourcing SME; leading requirements gathering sessions, performing contract and pricing reviews, familiarity with industry pricing frameworks, comprehensive data analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with common services data model, applying data governance strategy and considerations to maximize reuse of common data elements and to maintain high data quality
