Technical Project Management - Project Lead

As a Project Lead in our Hybrid-Operate group, you’ll have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside leading professionals across diverse industries.

 

Work you’ll do

As a Project Lead, you will drive cross functional teams in defining and delivering Hybrid Operate’s next generation of Tech Assets. The Project Lead will interface with IT, Operations, Business Analysts, Product Managers, Developers and Software Application Testing teams and provide project management leadership for the development effort. Other responsibilities may include:

 

Project Planning: Create or participate in the creation of project documentation. Manage all the stakeholders to design a solution and establish associated project timelines and budgets that allow for the delivery of the most strategic functionality within the project constraints.

 

Project Control: Produce and maintain an integrated master schedule for the project. Manage project change management through project change orders, phased delivery, or other methods to ensure projects deliver on timeline, scope, budget and strategy expectations. Evaluate all key project deliverables. Responsible for formal sign off on all project deliverables; this will often include coordinating input and involvement from the Business Unit Leadership and cross-functional team.

 

Project communication: Use sound judgment in all project communication and ensure that internal stakeholders understand key message. Work with product owner to ensure they achieve an understanding of expectations, deliverables, dependencies, risks, progress and the development process.

They will have the ability to be successful while working independently or as part of a team and will be able to adapt quickly to shifts in priorities and/objectives. They will be passionate about learning and applying their technical skills and experiences to solve real-world problems, and possess strong listening, verbal, & written communication skills.

Qualifications:

 

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical major and/or relevant experience
  • 5+ years of demonstrated and hands-on experience in project management
  • Experience in leading on-site and globally disbursed multiple project teams concurrently
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and its interactions with project management discipline
  • Well versed in the PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge, managing software development projects using Stage-Gate and Agile methodologies including Agile Scrum and Agile Kanban
  • Experience in closely working with Product Managers/Owners and Deliver Leaders
  • Experience defining and implementing project metrics for scope, schedule, cost and quality
  • Experience with a variety of project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Share Point and capacity models
  • Strong project management leadership skills which will include mentoring, knowledge on IT networks and applications (experience in Cloud-based development projects preferred), Rapid Prototyping and experience in Low Code/No Code implementation

  • Ability to travel up to 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

 

Preferred

  • Agile and/or Scrum Master certification from a prominent organization
  • CSM, PMP, SAFe certifications
