Work you’ll do
- Assist the Capability PAPM and Lead Engineer in the management of all technical aspects within the capability project portfolio
- Track and communicate all technical aspects of project execution
- Provide Capability Project Manager required team coverage/ resources needed for technical project execution
- Provide systems engineering analysis support to coordinate with other NIFC engineering leads for schedule and technical alignment (e.g., development, integration, fielding, etc.)
- Provide technical acceptability analysis support to identify and communicate project level interoperability issues (e.g., performance impacts to terminal, coordinating lab and platform testing, GFE asset coordination, etc.)
- Attend and brief project status at internal and external technical level meetings
- Development of technical programmatic and policy governance studies
- Support the development of technical development and integration strategies
- Utilize technical experience to support cost estimation of capability development
- Provide technical document support in the review of technical program development documents and by providing technical direction recommendations (e.g., investigative reports)
- Provide recommendations for strategic engineering solutions to mitigate resolve technical risks and issues associated with the capability project portfolio

The Application Modernization and Innovation offering is comprised of experienced professionals who help guide clients through their most complex technology challenges. This can include the delivery of large-scale software applications & integrated systems, the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) & other integrations solutions, and the delivery of technology enablement to support CIO services transformation. Our Application Modernization and Innovation offering focuses on key client issues that impact the core business. We provide operational value, modernized mission solutions, and enhanced technology innovation.
Qualifications
Required:
- Must have an active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college or university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience performing management, reduction, and analysis of data, designing tests, and laboratory analyses, including scientific analyses and interpretation of research results
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with system of systems design and development to modify/improve functionality
- Minimum three (3) years of experience architecting, reviewing, analyzing, testing and modifying system of systems designs and implementations for C4ISR systems
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in a Government Acquisition Program Office with experience in the following areas:
- Government contracts
- Managing cross functional teams
- Project Management
- Active TS/SCI
- Awareness of Project Management best practices (cost, schedule, performance, risk)
- Working knowledge of SETR and Systems Engineering Analysis (3-7 years relevant experience)
- Experience in the development and interpretation of technical documents (e.g., investigative reports)
- Knowledge of Acquisition Program Management
- Development of technical programmatic and policy briefs
