Work you’ll do:
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership abilities to ensure the successful delivery of cloud solutions that meet business objectives. The Technical PM will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, operations, and business stakeholders, to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient on-prem and multi-cloud services.
Responsibilities include:

Project Planning and Management:
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Lead consultations, project kickoff meetings, establish project goals, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely delivery. -
Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and alignment.
• Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and documentation to senior management and stakeholders. -
Technical Expertise:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance on cloud architecture, deployment, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers, developers, and architects to design and implement cloud solutions that meet project requirements.
• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Risk and Issue Management:
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
• Proactively manage project issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement. -
Resource Management:
• Coordinate and manage project resources, including internal teams and external vendors.
• Ensure effective utilization of resources to meet project goals and budget constraints.
• Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. -
Quality Assurance:
• Establish and enforce quality standards and best practices for cloud projects.
• Conduct regular project reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.
• Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance project delivery and performance.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Must have an active Public Trust clearance
- 5+ years of project management experience, with an emphasis on Cloud technology
- Travel up to 20% on average, based on work you do and the clients and the industries/sectors you serve.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred:
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex cloud projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.• Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and deployment models.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification is preferred.
- Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certifications) is a plus.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $114,000 to $190,000.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
