Over the past several years, Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) has had great success in delivering technology-enabled tax services to its clients. As a result, Deloitte Tax is expanding its Technology group. The Tax Transformation group is focused on developing new service offerings and technology solutions that assist us in delivering tax services to our clients. Work you’ll do

As a Project Management - Manager, you’ll be tasked with working directly with managers and upper management as well as collaborating with tax subject matter specialists and software developers. You will help with identifying, designing, developing, debugging, testing and deploying innovative applications and standard processes. You will, also implement automations, support custom applications and modules to meet business requirements. All of these efforts will be to support the delivery of tax services. You will facilitate project meetings and assist stakeholders with requests related to tools and enterprise technologies. The position requires demonstrating a good understanding and working knowledge of business and tax systems in order to meet client tax needs. Additionally, you will have the ability to lead internal Deloitte tax team members and client users to plan and execute on optimal application configurations. You will be an integral part of client engagement teams and other duties as assigned.

The team

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation team is responsible for the development and deployment of technology, tools, and standard processes to support the delivery of Tax services. The team is focused on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP's ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient Tax services to our clients. It is a dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds from tax technical, technology development, change management, Six Sigma, and project management. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving process and tool development and implementation including training development, engagement management, tool design and implementation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business related field, or relevant educational or professional experience
  • 5+ years project management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage several projects simultaneously while delivering outstanding quality and meeting established deadlines
  • Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.)
  • Limited Sponsorship – Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • CPA, Enrolled Agent, or other appropriate certification (either in process or able/willing to obtain)

Preferred:

  • Certified or in the process of obtaining PMP
  • Experience working with tax projects
  • Experience working with SharePoint
  • Advanced written, verbal analytical and communications skills required.
  • Working knowledge of analytics, data management, statistics, accounting, and computer applications
