Work You’ll Do
Work with a team of tax professionals to implement new tax software products and optimize the services provided via existing products. Provide an integrated approach to process improvement that can help the tax department maximize its strategic value to the organization. Tailor consulting methodologies to identify improvement opportunities. Utilize tax technology applications experience to address a corporate tax function’s unique needs, requirements and obligations and develop comprehensive solutions to ensure tax-critical financial information is captured; solve complex tax issues as they arise. Present research findings to senior management. Inform clients of tax software developments that affect their business, as well as help clients to interpret and integrate such tax considerations into their business strategy; assist in the development of tax system selection criteria. Implement tax systems and software. Integrate cross-vendor provision, compliance, and planning systems. Optimize tax systems to utilize recent software enhancements. Configure/customize tax systems to supplement out-of-the-box functionality. Assess and improve processes and data flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Eighteen months of experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and product design starting at problem identification implementation.
- Experience must include eighteen months of:
- Working with functional and technical teams through end-to-end lifecycle of implementation for IBM TRIRIGA application;
- Interacting with client teams to scope, design, implement, and demonstrate technological solutions for store lifecycle management processes, including site selection, design, and constructions and lease administration;
- Designing and building business intelligence reports;
- Executing data analysis, extraction, transformation, and loading into system utilizing Kettle and Oracle;
- Performing and facilitating gap analysis for systems and business process by mapping out current state and proposed future state processes;
- Creating active wireframes to finalize requirements and feedbacks during the requirement phase;
- Participating in system integration and data conversion design sessions, creating design specifications, and providing QA and remediation overview ensuring the quality of deliverables;
- Developing standardized system design workbooks, functional and technical specifications for integrations, conversions, and reporting components; and
- Conceptualizing and designing best practices, templates, and processes between cross-functional teams.
