Work You’ll Do
Align global effective tax rate reduction and efficient global cash utilization with overall business strategy. Help multinational clients integrate tax planning into their overall business strategy and comply with both U.S. and international regulatory requirements. Assist companies with international compliance, research, consulting, and planning issues. Advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on the tax implications of their international operations. Coordinate U.S. tax laws with foreign tax laws to develop an optimal worldwide tax strategy. Mentor and coach junior team members.

Requirements
- Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Law, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
- Eighteen months of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and tax returns.
- Experience must include eighteen months of:
- Preparing international tax compliance forms and informational returns, including Forms 8991, 8992, 1120F, 5471, 5472, 8865 and 8858 disclosures and statements;
- Preparing federal and state income tax returns for C-Corporations;
- Utilizing tax software, including GoSystem, Alteryx, and Corptax, to prepare federal, state, local, and international income tax returns, and calculate estimated tax and process filings;
- Utilizing tax research tools, including BNA, CCH, TaxNotes, and RIA Checkpoint, to provide tax compliance and consulting services to various clients;
- Performing analysis for FIN 48, effective tax rate reconciliation, and valuation allowance, and preparing deferred tax schedules and tax review memos to properly account for income taxes during the preparation of tax provisions for corporations;
- Preparing quarterly estimated tax payments for corporations, and preparing schedules for federal and state income tax returns and state franchise tax;
- Assisting corporations in Internal Revenue Service and state tax examinations, responding to Information Document Requests (IDRs), and drafting response memos;
- Performing detailed review of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, and collecting appropriate information for determining deferred tax balance sheet accounts, tax provision, and asset valuation for quarterly and year-end filings;
- Computing the GILTI inclusion, FDII deduction, subpart F inclusion, and other tax impact arising from foreign activities of domestic corporations; and
- Reviewing and auditing income tax provision, tax position analysis, and related disclosures for financial statements to meet PCAOB and SEC requirements.
Salary: $86,800.00 - $161,200.00/year
