Deloitte Tax LLP seeks a Tax Senior Manager in New York, NY.

Work You’ll Do

Serve as a Global Trade Advisory (GTA) SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) senior manager for Deloitte Tax. Serve as an implementation lead for the SAP GTS global trade management software solution within Deloitte Tax's GTA practice. Help companies understand international trade requirements to align automated trade functionalities within SAP GTS to business processes. Lead system design, build (i.e., system configuration and development efforts), test, and deployment activities. Advise U.S. and foreign multinational companies on global import and export compliance automation through the implementation of SAP GTS.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
  • Four years of SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) software implementation experience.
  • Experience must include four years of:
    • Performing implementation of all modules of SAP GTS, including compliance management (legal control), customs management (broker filing, bonded warehouse management, EMCS procedures, and import/export self-filing), and risk management (trade preference);
    • Performing integration of SAP GTS with SAP and non-SAP feeder systems;
    • Performing scope definition, requirements gathering, documentation of business processes, and fit gap of processes with SAP ERP and GTS capabilities;
    • Performing full cycle end-to-end SAP GTS system implementations, including ensuring that solution design for end-to-end trade processes are aligned with leading industry practices, and performing SAP GTS system configuration and basic debugging;
    • Translating compliance and customs regulatory business requirements into system design and test scenarios;
    • Collaborating and managing global teams responsible for projects with total size over $1 million; and
    • Assisting with project planning and business development, including budget tracking, internal and client risk escalations, and client proposals.
  • In the alternative, the employer is willing to accept a Bachelor's degree and six years of experience as stated above.
  • Position requires approximately 70% travel, including domestic and international travel.
